Brian McMullin, Solicitor

EXPERIENCE

Brian has been a practicing Solicitor in Ireland for 27 years and is also admitted to practice in in England and Wales and Northern Ireland. He has a strong commercial background having been involved in many significant and often high profile commercial, corporate and civil law disputes.

In addition to a successful private practice, Brian has played a prominent role in the regulation of the legal profession; firstly, through the Law Society Regulation of Practice Committee and for the last eight years serving in a quasi-judicial capacity while chairing a division of The Irish Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal.

Brian has particular interest and experience in disputes concerning partnerships, construction law, contracts, family and inheritance, sport, entertainment, public law, intellectual property, banking, employment, and property.


QUALIFICATIONS

A certified mediator, Brian is an active member of the Law Society of Ireland Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and a member of the Council of the Irish Commercial Mediation Association. His strong interpersonal and common-sense negotiation skills are highly effective in both routine and more complex multi-party disputes.

PERSONAL

Brian lives in Donegal and is married with four children. His interests include running, triathlon, skiing, golf and reading as well as organising and participating in events to raise funds for charities such as The Solicitors Benevolent Association and the Irish Heart Foundation.
