On 17 October Juris delivered a well-received Masterclass to the Insurance Institute of NI as part of their ongoing programme of CPD events for members. The topic ‘Mediation and Arbitration: Does it really work and how best to use it?’ produced some thought-provoking discussion. The Right Hon Sir Paul Girvan and John Morrissey B.L. spoke on arbitration and Alva Brangam K.C. and Kathy Sinclair (Juris) addressed mediation. The Masterclass was chaired by Martin Blake (Juris). An interesting morning was had by all.
